Expedited Estate Planning
for Young Adults

If you or someone you love is between the ages of 18-25, it is important to make sure you have the right documents in place to in case of an emergency.

For young adults who are heading off to school or enlisting in the military in the next month or so, there is still time to make sure you have documents in place in case someone needs to step in because of a health or other emergency. This is available only to young adults who are Ohio residents (even if you are going to school in another state).

In order to get the documents completed before the end of August, please use the links below to

• Schedule Your Appointment with McFadden Bushnell staff to Discuss Planning

• Pay the $400 fee for the initial appointment, preparation of documents, and signing appointment

We have a limited number of appointments to complete documents by the end of August.*

Because we would like to make our meeting as productive as possible, if the Young Adult Preliminary Profile is not completed at least 1 business days before your scheduled appointment we may need to reschedule our meeting. Please complete as much of the form as possible as the more information you are able to provide, the more efficient and thorough our initial meeting will be. For our Young Adult Planning (age 25 and under), please complete our Young Adult Profile through DecisionVault at the link below. We would ask you to please complete this at least 1 business days before the appointment in order to give us a chance to review it before our meeting.

Schedule Zoom Appointment to Discuss Young Adult Documents:

Pay $400 Young Adult Documents Fee:

Please use the link below to make the $400 payment. This fee includes:

• Zoom Meeting with McFadden Bushnell staff to review Young Adult Profile and discuss documents*

• Creation of Young Adult Documents including:*

  • Durable Financial Power of Attorney

  • Durable Health Care Power of Attorney

  • HIPPA Authorization

  • FERPA Release

  • Will

• Signing Meeting for Young Adult Documents*

• Preparation of Executed Documents including:

  • Original Documents provided in sturdy folder

  • Copy set of documents in three ring binder

  • Electronic Copy of documents on a flash drive

  • One year membership with Legal Directives for the Young Adult.

*If McFadden Bushnell is hired to prepare Young Adult documents, the Young Adult is the client of McFadden Bushnell, even if someone else is paying for the documents. The Young Adult will have the benefit of Attorney Client Privilege with McFadden Bushnell, and information will not be shared with any other individual without the consent and authorization of the Young Adult client, even if another individual is paying for the documents. If McFadden Bushnell is not able to complete the Young Adult Documents either based on information provided in the DecisionVault profile, or based on information learned during the Zoom meeting, the $400 will be refunded. Examples of why the work would not be able to be completed could include if the Young Adult does not want the documents prepared, or is unwilling to cooperate with the process in a timely manner.

PARENT PLANNING BONUS: If the parent or parents of the Young Adult decided to have McFadden Bushnell do their own estate planning including a Revocable Trust within 6-months of the Young Adult Planning, we will credit the $400 for the Young Adult Planning to the parent’s or parents’ Revocable Trust Planning package.
